As you may know, I have been on retreat for the past few months. This time of reclusion has been filled with unexpected discoveries and understandings. One of the turning points this time has brought to me is a clear awareness that the time has come for me to retire. I have been writing about the Tao and teaching about the Tao for most of my life. The time has come for me to fully live it.
I’ve left far more words behind than the Tao would consider necessary, but I have honestly crafted them, I affirm their content, and I hope readers will be able to benefit from whatever kernels of wisdom might be within them. Now I am going to let go and let myself expand into a new stage of my life. I’m going to paint, write fiction, learn the Taiji Yang Sword Form, take walks in new territory, and read lots and lots of good novels.
I am deeply grateful for all the friendships and experiences my time of teaching has brought to me. The winds of Tao keep on blowing and we all keep on sailing with them.
Peace and joy,
(This website will remain active for reference and if you wish to contact me.)
